In the aftermath of the Fed decision, stock volatility (in terms of price) has remained low compared to during the "credit crunch."
The major indices have continued to have sub-1% change days in comparison to the hectic days during the credit crunch and immedietly after the Fed decision. Tech stocks have continued to do well. The Nasdaq 100 (QQQQ) is up almost 24% YTD, compared to 13% for the DOW and 10.2% for the S&P 500.
Most are expecting the Fed to lower rates another .25% before year end.
